The two-story home was constructed with bricks made on the property, featuring both English and Flemish bond patterns. The house includes three bays, 9-over-9 sash windows with some original wavy glass, and seven hand-carved fireplaces (three of which are working). Much of the original interior has been preserved, including heart pine flooring, pegged doors, and woodwork. The attic beams, secured with large pegs, are still visible.
